In today's world, there's a significant shift from an eternity-focused mindset to one centred on earthly concerns. We need to pray daily to keep our hearts and minds focused on heaven. Some things in life are temporary, but others last forever.
Key Scriptures: James 1:17, John 9:5, John 14:30, Matthew 5:14, Ephesians 5:27, Revelation 19:5-6, Genesis 9:19-27, Deuteronomy 23:3
We have a Father in Heaven who is not just any Father, but one of perfect, pure light! We are His children, children of Light. Our Father is perfect in all His works, ways, and laws (2 Samuel 22:1). When He heals, He heals perfectly. When He delivers, He delivers perfectly. When He loves, He loves perfectly. When He shows mercy, He does so perfectly.
For a God who is perfect, He expects no less from us. Whatever you do for Him, do it perfectly (Revelation 3:14-15).
As children of God, we ought to be as pure as light. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 2:19 that we are known by God, and we should depart from iniquity.
The Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. If we cooperate with the Holy Spirit, we can live a life free of sin, fully committed to purity and holiness.
Let's strive to be as pure as light, reflecting our perfect Father's glory in everything we do. Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below, and join the conversation on social media. Together, we can encourage one another to live as children of Light.
